Lawrencina is a woman on a mission to educate, empower, inspire, and encourage people, particularly women and students of all ages, to reach their God-given potential.
Like most people, Lawrencina's life has been filled with ups and downs, highs and lows, and tests and trials. She believes her tests have given her a testimony which God desires for her to share and use to encourage others. When going through life's valleys, Lawrencina found strength from God's word. She kept the faith that God would pull her up and out of her valleys. She stood on God’s promise that He would renew her strength. She put her hope in God and believed Isaiah 40:31 which says, "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint."
In October 2020, Lawrencina became a published author. She wrote a chapter, “The Gift of Encouragement,” in a collaborative book called Every Heart Has a Gift. She also self-published her first book, Look Up, Step Up, and Soar: Lessons of Hope, Restoration, and Transformation for Life's Journey. In this book, Lawrencina shares lessons she has learned, as she has trusted God to help her soar through the valleys in her personal and professional life. While the journey has not been easy, she has tried to continually look up to God, from whence cometh her strength, and to listen to Him, as He orders her steps through life’s journey.
Lawrencina earned her BA from Rice University in Houston, Texas, a Masters from the University of Minnesota, and JD from William Mitchell College of Law. She has been married to Frank Oramalu for 25 years and together they have three children - Bobbie, Obinna, and Franko.
